In recent years, the market for labour from Ukraine in Poland was rather "burnt out". The number of vacancies grew, and companies, in order to retain workers, were forced to actively increase social packages. In a period of economic stabilisation, workers gradually began to dictate their working conditions on the market. Companies, and even countries, began to compete for workers. Ukrainians began to choose where to go: to Poland, the Czech Republic or Germany.

However, a crisis always brings changes. This crisis is no exception. Therefore, on the one hand, the economic recession in Ukraine and, on the other hand, the partial decline in production indicators in Poland may cause a return to a situation where the labour market is more oriented toward the employer rather than the worker.
