It is increasingly difficult to fill vacancies with workers from abroad. Their shortage may be especially acute in Q4. As Tomas Bogdevic, general director of Gremi Personal, points out, according to its research, for more than 80% of labour migrants from Ukraine the reason for going abroad is economic, and Germany, the Czech Republic or Scandinavia are financially far more attractive than Poland. Despite the risk of possible deportation, Ukrainians work there illegally on Polish documents. Michał Wierzchowski also states that workers from Ukraine increasingly choose work in the Czech Republic, which lacks about 350,000 workers, or in Germany, which could absorb about 400,000 workers from abroad.
