Rzeczpospolita: Foreigners are still needed

The pandemic caused in 2020 the first drop in years in work permits for foreigners, but in many companies labour migrants remain a way to make up for staff shortages.

Tomas Bogdevic, CEO of Gremi Personal, says that in March there is an upward trend in recruiting workers from abroad, although it is limited by a drop in rotation. While before the pandemic most Ukrainians came to Poland for a short time, changing every three months, now they stay in Poland on average about 8 months, or even longer.
