“Ukrainians will continue to come to Poland due to the difficult economic situation in their country. At the start of 2021, utility bills rose in Ukraine: by 30% for electricity, by 50% for heating, depending on the region. Such a large increase in prices means expenses are beyond their means, even with a slight rise in pensions and the minimum wage,” Karolina Bogdevic, an expert at the Gremi Personal Analytical Centre, tells PulsHR.pl.
