Pay transparency is not salary disclosure. What changes await the labour market?

The law signed on 18 June 2025 is meant to increase pay transparency, yet many experts see it as a step backwards. Instead of being obliged to publish salary ranges in job ads, firms will be able to disclose rates only before an interview – or even just before signing a contract. This is a conservative solution which, according to specialists, diverges from the intent of the EU directive and is far from what supporters of full pay transparency expect.
