Rzeczpospolita: A Polish mafia smuggles Ukrainians to work in the West

More and more citizens from beyond the eastern border, using forged documents including Polish work visas, are heading to work in Germany, the Czech Republic and Scandinavian countries. Criminal groups profit from this – according to operational intelligence from German and Polish border services.

“Ukrainian labour migrants increasingly try to leave and work in these countries on the basis of Polish work visas or even ordinary work permits. To work in Europe they also use fake employment contracts, forged Romanian and Hungarian passports or Czech work visas,” says Tomasz Bogdevic, CEO of Gremi Personal.
