51% of Ukrainians want to stay and continue working in Poland. However, many fear deportation in a situation where their visas expire during the coronavirus epidemic.

Money.pl writes about statistical data obtained from an analysis of conversations with Ukrainians calling a special hotline run by Gremi Personal as part of the Social Programme of Assistance to Ukrainians "We Are Together".

22% of the people calling the hotline are interested in the possibility of crossing the border and returning home. However, half of them fear being deported if, during the pandemic, their visa runs out or their residence permit under the visa-free regime expires.
