More and more Ukrainians want to stay in Poland for another 3 years

According to a Gremi Personal survey in February 2020, about 15% of respondents planned to move to Poland with their family. Moreover, every third (31%) Ukrainian working in Poland had plans directly related to assimilation in Poland: obtaining a permanent residence permit or citizenship, relocating, buying property or starting a business.

The current situation resembles the trend among migrants from Poland to Western Europe after Poland joined the European Union. However, the migration of Polish citizens within the EU differs from migration from Ukraine to Poland due to the stricter immigration rules for Ukrainians.
