The coronavirus pandemic brought turmoil to the Polish labour market, yet the vast majority of labour migrants stayed in Poland. It is estimated that the employment of foreigners fell by about 10% between February and the end of May 2020. The regulations introduced by Poland for the time of the epidemic simplified the procedure legalising the residence and employment of foreigners. However, after the end of this state is announced, employers will have only 30 days to extend the validity of permits for their workers, so it is worth keeping the legalisation of residence and work permit up to date in the standard way. More on this topic was told live for Rozmowy Biznes24 by Karolina Bogdevic, vice-president of Gremi Personal; the broadcast is available here.
