Where to Get a Passport in Poland: Addresses of DP "Dokument" Centres and Everything You Need to Know

For millions of Ukrainians living and working in Poland, the question of documents arises sooner or later for everyone: a passport is expiring, a child has grown up and needs their own, a driving licence needs to be exchanged. Returning to Ukraine solely for this purpose is not necessary - since 2022, passport services have been available directly in Poland through the DP "Dokument" centres.
In Which Polish Cities Is the Passport Service Available
As of June 2026, the DP "Dokument" passport service operates in four Polish cities. This is the largest network of Ukrainian passport centres in any EU country - for comparison, Germany has two, other Western countries have one each.
Centre Addresses
- Warsaw - Al. Jerozolimskie 179, Blue City shopping centre
- Wrocław - plac Grunwaldzki 22
- Gdańsk - Aleja Grunwaldzka 415
- Kraków - Galeria Krakowska, Pawia 5
All centres are open Monday to Saturday, 09:00-18:00. Sunday is a day off. On pre-holiday days and during technical maintenance, opening hours may change - it is best to check current information on the official website.
What Documents Can Be Processed
The following services are available at each of the four centres:
- application for a biometric foreign passport;
- application for a foreign passport for children under 16;
- application for an ID card (from age 14) or its exchange;
- exchange of a driving licence;
- simultaneous application for a foreign passport and ID card;
- collection of documents previously submitted at other DP "Dokument" centres in Ukraine or abroad.
Important: payment is accepted by bank card only. Cash is not accepted at any of the centres. If you are using a foreign card - make sure it supports payments in hryvnias, as the administrative fee is paid in the national currency, while the service portion is paid in Polish zlotys.
How to Register for a Queue
Registration is available online - via a Telegram or WhatsApp bot, a link to which can be found on the official website of each centre. New slots appear at various times, so if no spaces are available - it is worth checking later or trying on a different day.
Most centres also accept walk-in visitors, but in practice advance registration is considerably more convenient - particularly in Warsaw and Gdańsk, where visitor numbers are highest.
How Much Do the Services Cost
Prices consist of two parts: the administrative fee and document blank cost (paid in hryvnias) and the company's service fee (in zlotys). Specific amounts are reviewed regularly - the current price list is always published on the official pages of each centre. It is worth checking prices directly before your visit rather than relying on third-party sources.
The required document lists for each service and the queue registration link are also available there.
How to Check Document Readiness
After submitting documents, the status can be tracked on the official DP "Dokument" website (pasport.org.ua) in the readiness check section. You will need the application number issued during intake. The check can be performed from any device without additional registration.
Advice from Gremi Personal
Do not leave it until the last moment. Processing times depend on the type of service and the workload of the specific centre. If your passport is expiring soon - register in advance, especially during the summer season when demand traditionally increases. Please note that a valid document is a mandatory requirement for official border crossing, applying for a residence card and a range of other procedures.
