A structural shift is taking shape in Poland's labour market: demand is moving towards manual and physical workers, while the need for skilled professionals is declining in certain sectors. This emerges from an NV report based on data from the analytical centre of the international recruitment company Gremi Personal.
Experts note that the steepest drops in employment are being recorded in manufacturing and business services, while logistics, HoReCa and the food industry are showing growth. In this environment, the role of migrant workers – Ukrainians in particular – remains crucial to the stability of the Polish economy.
