The quarantine centres are intended primarily for workers who temporarily returned to Ukraine before the Polish borders were closed and are now trying to come back to work. This decision became necessary following the introduction of quarantine measures in Poland caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the closure of the Ukrainian-Polish border. Many industries are already suffering from a severe shortage of labour.
