Important for Ukrainians in Poland: Office for Foreigners Working Hours During the New Year Holiday Period

Planning to submit documents for a residence permit, extend your legal stay, or contact the Office for Foreigners (UDSC)? Please note: during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, the office will operate on a reduced schedule.

To avoid unnecessary trips and stress, we recommend checking the working hours in advance.

Days when the Office for Foreigners will be closed

The office will not accept foreign nationals on public holidays. The Office for Foreigners will be closed on the following days: 1 January 2026 – New Year's Day 6 January 2026 – Epiphany (Three Kings' Day) On these days it will not be possible to submit documents or receive consultations at the office.

Reduced working hours for UDSC and the helpline

In addition to the days of full closure, on certain days the office and its helpline will operate for shorter hours than usual: 31 December 2025 – until 12:00 2 January 2026 – until 12:00 5 January 2026 – until 14:00 If you plan to call or visit in person — make sure to take these hours into account.
