Ukraine's Human Rights Commissioner Opens Representative Office in Poland

On December 14, information was published about the opening in Poland of a representative office of the Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman).
As a reminder, the Ombudsman's primary mission is to protect the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens, including those living abroad.

The Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights is an institution whose purpose is to protect the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens. With independent status, the Ombudsman's Office serves as an intermediary between individuals and state institutions. It intervenes wherever the rights of Ukrainian citizens are violated or at risk of being violated.
The Ombudsman protects human rights in the following legal categories:

There is one exception, however — applications that are already the subject of pre-trial or judicial proceedings, labour disputes, or disputes under economic competition law at the time of submission.
