Ukrainian Business in Poland: Why Our Citizens Dominate Among Foreign Entrepreneurs

Ukrainians continue to lead among foreigners conducting business activity in Poland. According to Polish registries, in 2025 Ukrainian citizens made up the largest group of foreign entrepreneurs registered in the CEIDG system, significantly outpacing representatives of other countries.

The growing number of Ukrainian sole traders in Poland reflects structural changes in the economic presence of our citizens — from participation in the labour market to an active role in creating added value and jobs. The Gremi Personal analytics centre notes that this dynamic has been made possible by accessible business registration conditions, flexible forms of employment, and demand for services in key sectors of the economy.
