The number of Ukrainian teachers travelling to Poland for work during the summer holidays has increased by 15% compared to the summer of 2020.

This was reported to "Holovne" by Gremi Personal.

"Teachers are looking for jobs where they can earn good money quickly during the summer season. They find employment at food industry enterprises (meat processing plants, fish factories, confectionery plants), electronics manufacturers, logistics warehouses, as well as hotels and restaurants that need extra staff during the tourist season. On average, a Ukrainian teacher can earn $3,000–$5,000 in Poland over three months of summer holidays. We have a case where two female teachers came to work as hotel housekeepers for the summer — now, every season, the entire school staff works at that same hotel," said Anna Dzhabolda, Head of the Recruitment Department at Gremi Personal.
