The actual number may be even higher, as many work under short-term contracts. This is reported by the German outlet Deutsche Welle, citing Hanna Dzhobold, Head of Recruitment at Gremi Personal. According to her, most Ukrainians are employed in the manufacturing sector. "Most often in production facilities, because there is steady demand for labour. These are food processing companies, fish plants, meat-packing plants, frozen food manufacturers, as well as logistics warehouses, where work has remained stable throughout the pandemic," Deutsche Welle quotes Hanna as saying.
