Rapid Rise in Unemployment and Record Competition for Jobs: What Poland's Labour Market Looks Like Today

At the end of August 2025, Polish employment offices registered 11% more unemployed people than in the same period of the previous year, and 3.2% more than in July of this year. The number of unemployed in the country was rising throughout the entire summer. These figures come from the analytics centre of the international recruitment company Gremi Personal and the Polish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.
