The Season Is Approaching

The Polish labour market is entering its full "high season" for temporary employment. During the first two weeks of May, the number of job offers for foreign workers grew by an average of 30–35%, according to the Analytics Centre of international agency Gremi Personal.

The strongest demand growth is observed in heavy industry (+10%), as well as in retail, logistics and e-commerce (+7%).

— Right now we have the most vacancies open for production and warehouse roles in the heavy, logistics and processing industries. The pandemic taught Poles to shop online — companies involved in logistics, warehousing and e-commerce are constantly searching for workers. But demand in retail is also persistently high, especially ahead of long weekends, the picnic season and holidays — comments Anna Dzhobołda, Head of Recruitment at Gremi Personal.

The number of vacancies for men is growing fastest — by nearly 18 percentage points. At the same time, their supply in the market continues to shrink.
