Gremi Personal Borscht Festival Season: A Recap

Every day we look for new ways to raise funds in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We never run short of creative ideas, but we also have our established traditions. One of them is organising Borscht Festivals in cities across Poland to raise money for the purchase of tactical medical supplies for the AFU.
In August 2022, during the first Borscht Day in Dąbrowa Górnicza, we raised 4,029 złoty, which we used to buy 201 tourniquets for the AFU. Between 2022 and 2023 we held 11 festivals in total, attended by more than 23,000 Ukrainians. Thanks to our festival guests, we raised over 320,000 złoty (2,682,000 hryvnias).
These funds were transferred to the account of the Gremi Personal Foundation, which purchased 7,500 units of tactical medical equipment for the AFU, 2 drones, and provided equipment to the brigade responsible for dealing with the aftermath of the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.
We were joined by musicians, a dance ensemble, and a group of visual artists. We found partners and sponsors who generously supplied us with hundreds of litres of borscht free of charge.
A new season of Borscht Festivals in Poland is coming soon. Stay tuned to our news and watch out for announcements!
