Forklift Operators Wanted

The start of the high season in the logistics and retail sectors is also driving up demand for workers with specialist qualifications — forklift operators in particular. Experts at Gremi Personal see this as an opportunity to increase employment among women from Ukraine.

– At the beginning of May, we at Gremi Personal launched our own forklift operator training school. Women who fled Ukraine because of the war will be able to learn this profession with us completely free of charge and, after a week-long course, receive the appropriate certificate. For them, it is a chance to find a job with a salary 40 percent higher than that of unskilled workers. For us, it is an opportunity to help them find their place in Poland and to fill our business clients' vacancies as quickly as possible, says Anna Dżobolda.
