Poland to Simplify Temporary Residence Permits for Economic Migrants

Poland has begun simplifying the process of obtaining a temporary residence permit for foreigners (the so-called residence card). In particular, the government's proposed bill seeks to eliminate the requirement for foreigners to provide rental agreements, simplify the procedure for obtaining a new residence card when changing employers, and expand the list of circumstances under which an update to the residence card is not required (for example, currently even a change of job title within the same company requires a card replacement).
