Poland Intends to Poach Ukrainian Doctors

Poland is facing a severe shortage of doctors amid the coronavirus pandemic, prompting the country's authorities to address the deficit by attracting medical professionals from Ukraine and Belarus. To this end, the Sejm has proposed a measure introducing a simplified procedure for hiring specialist doctors who obtained their professional qualifications outside the European Union.
