At the start of the pandemic, the number of Ukrainians leaving for other EU countries declined due to a lack of knowledge about how to navigate quarantine restrictions. However, economic migrants have since adapted to the new reality and are finding ways around work bans in other EU countries. Ukrainian labour migrants are increasingly seeking to travel and work in these countries on the basis of a Polish work visa or even a standard work permit. Tomash Bogdewicz, CEO of Gremi Personal, discusses these trends.
