Notarial Services for Ukrainians in Poland: An Important Update

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced that all Ukrainian consular offices in Poland now offer an automated document submission service for notarial acts.

The service was rolled out in stages: from July 1 it was available only at select Ukrainian consulates, and from August 20 it became operational at all consular offices worldwide.

The new system allows citizens to submit documents online at their convenience through the e-Consul portal. Users of the system can: ✔ download power of attorney or application templates, ✔ fill in the required information; ✔ receive notifications when their document is ready.

To complete the process, only a single visit to the consulate is required — to sign and collect the notarially certified document.

This is an important step toward the digitalization of consular services, enabling Ukrainians abroad to save significant time and simplify their document processing.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukrainians have already embraced the convenience of the new service. Since the first two groups of diplomatic missions were connected in July and August, nearly 500 Ukrainians have already used it.

Detailed information and answers to frequently asked questions about the service can be found on the websites of diplomatic missions and the Department of Consular Service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
