Lost in Translation: Why Ukrainian Businesses Struggle to Establish Themselves in Europe Despite a Fast Start

Ukrainian businesses operating in Europe face persistently low chances of stable, long-term growth, as they have not yet fully mastered the communication strategies and business development practices accepted in the European market.

According to Gremi Personal data, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainians have registered over 100,000 businesses in Poland alone, nearly 17,000 in the Czech Republic, and approximately 2,600 in Lithuania. Nevertheless, a significant share of Ukrainian businesses close within their first year of operation.
