Minimum Wage in Poland Increases in 2026: How Much Will Workers Earn?

From 1 January 2026, the minimum wage in Poland will rise to 4,806 złoty gross. This is approximately 3,600 złoty "in hand" (net). The changes also affect the hourly rate — the minimum hourly rate will increase to 31.30 złoty per hour. If an employee works part-time, the salary is calculated proportionally to the hours worked.

What is included in the gross rate?

The gross amount includes all standard deductions:

  • social insurance contributions,
  • advance income tax payment,
  • contributions to the Employee Capital Plan (if the employee has not opted out).

What else rises alongside the minimum wage?

An increase in the minimum wage automatically affects several other payments established as percentages of or linked to the minimum rate. In particular:

  • the night shift supplement will increase from 5.83 złoty to 6.01 złoty per hour;
  • compensation for workplace mobbing by the employer will increase;
  • the maximum severance pay will rise from 69,990 złoty to 72,090 złoty.
