Gremi Personal – Sponsor of the Palant Game

Palant is a Polish national sport that has its origins over 400 years ago. The format and rules of the game closely resemble modern baseball. Some sports historians believe that palant served as the prototype for baseball.

After World War II, a palant league was established in Silesia, standardising the rules of the game. In 1957, the Polish Palant Association was founded, which in 1978 was renamed the Polish Baseball and Softball Association – signalling that this centuries-old Polish sport was beginning to fade away. However, that did not happen: Poles have not forgotten their national game and continue to promote it both domestically and beyond the country's borders.

One such community is the Tricity Palant Club, founded in 2015. Gremi Personal has been participating in competitions since 2015 and has been sponsoring teams and helping to revive sporting traditions in Poland since 2020.
