Bytom is a fairly large city located to the north-west of Katowice. The distance from Bytom to the centre of Katowice is just 13–17 km (depending on the route). It is in this city, at a coke production plant, that vacancies for welders and electricians are currently open. For the welder position, we are looking for men up to the age of 50 with basic Polish and a welder's certificate. Rate – 26 PLN/h net, working hours – 340–360. Average salary – 8,840–9,360 PLN/month net. For the electrician position, we are looking for men up to the age of 55 with communicative Polish and SEP G1 (electrical) qualifications. Rate – 28 PLN/h net, working hours – 168–180. Salary – from 4,700 to 5,040 PLN/month. There are many breaks during the working day. Also in Bytom, at a polyethylene packaging manufacturing plant, there is an opening for a general production worker on the assembly line. Men up to the age of 50 are invited to apply – no experience or language skills required. Rate – 22 PLN/h net, working hours – 300–320. Salary – 6,600–7,040 PLN. The rate increases from the second month to 23 PLN/h net, and later to 24 PLN/h net. Free accommodation in a hostel with good conditions (two minutes on foot from the plant). Jobs in Zawiercie at a Semi-Finished Food Products Plant

Zawiercie is a city of 85,000 residents located 45 km from Katowice. It is home to a factory belonging to a well-known Polish producer of semi-finished food products, manufacturing pizzas, crepes and pancakes, pierogi, lasagne and many other delicacies. At this plant there are open vacancies on the production floor. We are looking for women and men up to the age of 55 who will work on the production line, in packaging, quality control and product preparation for dispatch. The rate for this position is 23 PLN/h net, with quite a high number of hours – 280–320 per month. Salary – 6,440–7,360 PLN/month net. We provide accommodation; compensation for your own housing is also available. In addition, employees receive free products every day – a great way to save on food costs.

These bonuses also apply to the next two positions. Also in Zawiercie at this plant, we are looking for forklift operators with UDT certification – men and couples up to the age of 57. Rate – 25.50 PLN/h net, working hours – 280–320. Salary – 7,140–8,160 PLN per month. There are also positions for machine operators – men up to the age of 55. Rate – 24 PLN/h net, working hours – 280–320. Salary – 6,720–7,680 PLN per month.

Warehouse Jobs near Katowice

A warehouse in Mysłowice (10 km from the centre of Katowice) is looking for order pickers. This warehouse stores a variety of food and household products (juices, water, alcohol, cleaning products, etc.). Requirements: up to 45 years of age and a basic understanding of Polish. No experience necessary. The rate for this position is 25 PLN/h net, working hours – 200–260. Average salary – 5,000–6,500 PLN/month net. Performance bonuses of 600 to 1,500 PLN for meeting targets. Workers are provided with accommodation; compensation for private housing is also available. Workwear and footwear provided free of charge. The warehouse has a canteen with everything you need.

Gliwice is a fairly large city located 28 km west of Katowice. A warehouse belonging to a supermarket chain here is looking for workers for order picking and goods assembly. We are looking for men up to the age of 50 who hold UDT certification or a category B driving licence. Employment contract (Umowa o pracę). Salary – 5,000–8,100 PLN/month gross. Accommodation is provided, along with one free meal per day. Workwear and footwear free of charge.
