Hundreds of our workers are already employed in the Pomeranian Voivodeship — at fish, meat, and shipbuilding plants, in manufacturing companies, in the service sector, and in other industries. Today we will look at specific examples of job vacancies in Gdańsk and other cities in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (Gdynia, Słupsk, Tczew) — which companies hire and how much you can earn. Call us or submit an application on our website — we will find the best option for you.

Workers for Shipbuilding Companies in Gdańsk

Gdańsk is a coastal city, and — just like other coastal cities in the voivodeship — it offers jobs in shipbuilding companies. Men with skilled trades are especially valued, for example carpenters or fitters, but there are also vacancies that require no prior experience. Currently in Gdańsk itself, there is a demand for workers for laminating and sanding on yachts. The starting rate is 19–21 PLN per hour, depending on your experience. Average monthly hours are 180–200, which means you can earn between 3,420 and 4,200 PLN per month. Another employment option in Gdańsk: carpenter for the production and installation of furniture and doors on yachts. The rate here is even higher — from 20 to 26 PLN per hour. Monthly hours — 200–240. You can earn between 4,000 and 6,240 PLN per month. If you are a hydraulic plumber, there are also job offers for you on yachts in Gdańsk. Rate — from 20 PLN per hour. Hours — 200–250 per month. Right from the start you can earn between 4,000 and 5,000 PLN per month. Reminder: to receive the latest job offers, submit an application on our website or give us a call.

Warehouse Jobs in the Pomeranian Voivodeship

Warehouse jobs are available in virtually every region of Poland, and the Pomeranian Voivodeship is no exception. By the way, we recently wrote about what roles you can take in warehouses in Poland. Currently in Gdańsk there is an open vacancy for a forklift operator with UDT certification at Biedronka and Auchan warehouses. The role involves transporting pallets, unloading and loading vehicles. Rate — 22 PLN per hour, with bonuses of up to 500 PLN. Schedule — week on, week off (can be combined with other work), shift-based. Monthly earnings — 3,700–5,000 PLN. A parcel sorter position at a DPD warehouse is available in Słupsk (a large city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, about 130 km from Gdańsk). Rate — 18 PLN/hour, average monthly hours — 210–250. Monthly earnings — 3,800–4,500 PLN. In Pruszcz Gdański (10 km from Gdańsk), there are warehouse jobs for meat product pickers — open to both men and women. Earnings range from 3,000 to 5,400 PLN per month.

Jobs in Fish Processing Plants

The fishing industry is a long-standing tradition of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. In this sector, you can always find work in Gdańsk or nearby cities. These are very often modern, mechanised plants — clean, with minimal odours — that challenge the myths about working in fish factories, while also offering workers a range of bonuses. In Gdynia (22 km from Gdańsk), there are vacancies for workers at a fish processing plant. Duties include processing and packing fish. Rate — 17.5 PLN per hour. Average salary — 3,350–5,000 PLN. In Chojnice (130 km from Gdańsk), there is a vacancy for a fish products packer. The work involves operating a production line and packing products. Rate — 17.5 PLN per hour, with bonuses of up to 200 PLN per month. Average monthly salary — 3,350–5,000 PLN.

Jobs in the Food Industry

As they say, there's more to life than fish — Gdańsk also has work for women and men in other food industry plants. Many such factories offer perks like free lunches and product allowances for employees. For example, in Dzierżążno (28 km from Gdańsk), workers for meat production are needed (no experience or language skills required). Rate — 18 PLN/hour, with a possible raise to 19 PLN/hour. Hours range from 220 up to 320 per month. Average salary — 3,350–5,000 PLN per month. In Gowidlino (62 km from Gdańsk), workers for poultry production are also needed. Rate — 18 PLN/hour, also with the possibility of a raise to 19 PLN/hour. Hours — 220–340 per month, and average monthly salary — 3,700–6,700 PLN. Don't want to work with meat? In Słupsk (130 km from Gdańsk, as mentioned), workers for the production of deli products and snacks are needed. Rate: 17.50 PLN/hour, bonuses from 180 to 800 PLN/month. Average monthly hours — 260–350. Average salary — 4,200–8,300 PLN per month.
