How to Order a monobank and PrivatBank Card in Poland?

jak-u-polshhi-zamoviti-kartu-monobank-i-privatbank

Many Ukrainians continue to actively use Ukrainian bank cards even after moving to Poland. People are used to their familiar service and convenient mobile banking, so they don't want to switch from the usual Monobank or PrivatBank to anything else without a real need.

These two large Ukrainian banks accommodate their customers and allow them to issue or reissue a physical card without returning to Ukraine.

How to get a Monobank card in Poland?

Monobank's entry into the Polish market (under the Stereo brand) was planned for this year, but according to the latest data the launch has been delayed indefinitely. Nevertheless, if you are a resident of Ukraine and want to issue or reissue a Monobank card, there will be no problems delivering the “plastic” to Poland. What is more, a mono card can be received in more than 180 countries — practically anywhere in the world.

To order international delivery of a physical card, go to the relevant menu in the Monobank app.

  1. Select “Issue a plastic card”, the country and the delivery method.
  2. Select the address and enter your details.
  3. Update the app. If everything goes through successfully, you will receive a notification in the app with a tracking number you can use to follow the order status.

Delivery is available:

  • Via Nova Poshta — by courier, to a branch or to a parcel locker;
  • Via Ukrposhta — for now by courier only.

Delivery times range from three to fourteen business days.

How to get a physical PrivatBank card in Poland?

PrivatBank also makes it possible to reissue an old card or issue a new one and pick up the “plastic” in Poland. To issue a new physical card, you first need to get the digital version.

Apart from Poland, PrivatBank can send cards to five countries — Germany, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Romania and Moldova.

Ordering, as with Monobank, is done through the app. To order a physical card:

  1. Open “Privat24”, select the card you want to receive in physical form and go to the card settings.
  2. Tap “Order card” and choose the “International” option.
  3. Enter the address, the phone number with the country code of the destination, and your email.
  4. Make sure the data is correct and tap “Continue”.

The card can only be sent to you via Nova Poshta — delivered to a branch or by courier. Good news: until the end of January 2024 the service is free. Order tracking is available in the app under “Card delivery status”.
