High Utility Bills Are Driving Ukrainians to Seek Work in Poland

Financial hardship is prompting Ukrainians who have never worked abroad before to seek employment in Poland.

"They choose Poland because of its geographic proximity and because they can work in Polish factories for 3 months under the visa-free regime, without needing prior work experience of this kind in Ukraine," says Anna Dzhabolda, Director of the Recruitment Department at international employment agency Gremi Personal.
