High Utility Bills, Low Wages. Ukrainian Workers Are Increasingly Moving to Poland

As explained by Hanna Dzhabolda, Director of the Recruitment Department, a seasonal uptick in interest in working in neighbouring Poland has been observed since September. Over the past 2 months, the number of applications from people seeking employment abroad has grown noticeably — applicants say they are driven by a lack of money to cover utility bills. They also cite the desire to earn money for gifts and New Year celebrations.
