Ukrainian Passport Service in Poland: Addresses What Ukrainian Documents Can Be Obtained in Poland?

We have already written about the Ukrainian passport service in Warsaw. When this branch of the State Enterprise "Dokument" first opened, it was an extraordinarily busy location — people travelled there from every corner of Poland and even from other European countries. Over the past six months, however, the situation has changed. SE "Dokument" responded to the enormous demand by opening new passport centres. In 2023, document submission in Poland is available in Wrocław, Warsaw, Gdańsk and Kraków. In this article we explain which services are available there, what they cost, and provide a full list of addresses for Ukrainian passport services in Poland.

Where can you get a passport in Poland? You no longer need to travel to the capital. Here is the updated list of SE "Dokument" addresses in Poland:

What Ukrainian Documents Can Be Obtained in Poland?

Currently, most Ukrainian documents can be processed without having to return to Ukraine. For many Ukrainians in Poland this is crucial — among them are refugees who have literally nowhere to return to, families with young children, and people whose relatives are working in Ukraine. All citizens can use the following services:

  • application for a Ukrainian foreign-travel passport;
  • application for a foreign-travel passport for children under 16;
  • application for a Ukrainian citizen's passport (from age 14) in the form of a plastic ID card;
  • exchange of a driving licence.

In addition, the passport service in Wrocław offers an insurance service. Specifically, in Wrocław you can arrange:

  • medical insurance for travellers abroad;
  • voluntary insurance against the risk of losing your ID card;
  • international motor insurance ("Green Card");
  • medical insurance for foreign nationals travelling to Ukraine;
  • insurance against the risk of losing a foreign-travel passport blank.

The full price list for all services can be found on the service's website, where you will also find a list of documents required for each application.

We can give you a rough guide to the prices for the main services:

  • biometric foreign-travel passport — no expiry date (administrative fee, blank and personalisation — 856 ₴; enterprise service fee — 375 zł; document dispatch service — 400 ₴);
