When Do Tickets to Poland Go on Sale Online?
This is the key question — high demand means passengers sometimes simply miss out on tickets.
All tickets become available on the website, in the app, and through the chatbot 20 days before the departure date.
From 9:00 AM, Kyiv – Warsaw train 67/68 tickets can be purchased in the mobile app. From 8:00 AM — on any platform for the following trains:
⇒ Kyiv – Przemysl No. 3/54, 89/90, 705/706, 715/716
⇒ Kyiv – Chelm 19/20, 23/24
⇒ Kharkiv – Chelm 93/94
⇒ Kharkiv – Przemysl 73/74
⇒ Zaporizhzhia – Przemysl 32/31
⇒ Odessa – Przemysl 36/35
A few tips for buying tickets on these trains:
- We recommend trying to buy tickets for your chosen train to Poland as soon as they appear — usually 1–3 minutes after 8:00 and 9:00 AM. To save time during checkout, add passenger names and a payment method (bank card) to the app in advance.
- Once you reserve a ticket, you have 15 minutes to pay for it. If you (or another buyer) don't, the tickets go back on sale. This means there's a chance to grab tickets around 8:15–8:20 AM and 9:15–9:20 AM.
- There are reports that some tickets don't appear immediately but become available within the first hour — around 30–50 minutes after opening.
- Didn't manage to get tickets? Don't be discouraged — you still have a chance to buy tickets to Poland returned by other passengers.
Returned tickets can be snapped up two days before departure at 10:00 AM. If a ticket was returned less than a day before departure, it reappears roughly half an hour after being refunded. So if you really need to travel, it's worth continuously monitoring ticket availability in the system.
- You can buy no more than four tickets at a time, but the system is set up in a way that makes purchasing one or two tickets at once easier than three or four.
- Lifehack: buy tickets from Lviv to Poland if there are none available from your city (Kyiv, Kharkiv, etc.). You'll need to make a connection, but it can sometimes be more convenient than taking a bus.
- The Ukrzaliznytsia website often doesn't work abroad, so it's better to install the app. Using the website with a VPN can also help.
We wish you happy travels!
