BBC: "It's Very Hard to Survive". Why Ukrainians Are Rushing Abroad for Work en Masse

Gremi Personal owner Yevhen Kyrychenko commented for BBC on the situation of Ukrainian migrant workers in Poland and how the company managed to prevent a mass return of employees to Ukraine following the announcement of border closures. According to him, Polish companies are short of workers from Ukraine due to the mass exodus in March and difficulties entering Poland. This is complicating workforce recruitment at enterprises, and Polish farmers are sounding the alarm.

"In our company, only 4% of workers returned home, because we continuously inform them about the authorities' decisions regarding legal residence and border crossing," Yevhen Kyrychenko said in the BBC article.
