Employment index stalls at 50 pkt. Companies play a waiting game

The latest data from the Gremi Personal Analytical Center show that employers are becoming increasingly cautious about hiring decisions. The NEI employment index held steady at 50 pkt, meaning companies are focusing more on cutting costs, freezing recruitment, and retaining existing teams than on further growth.

As Evgenij Kirichenko, founder of Gremi Personal, points out, the current situation does not indicate stable growth but rather cautious risk management. At the same time, wage growth is slowing, and companies are increasingly using temporary staffing and hiring foreign workers as a way to maintain flexibility in an uncertain economic environment.
