Temporary Work for Foreigners in Poland: Net Rates, Deductions and Growing Risks

date2026-09-02

Non-transparent pay rules for temporary workers are becoming an increasingly serious challenge for employers. According to a study by the Gremi Personal Analytical Center conducted among 600 foreigners, as many as 69% of respondents have personally encountered unclear pay or employment terms. The most common problems involve discrepancies between declared and actual rates, unexpected deductions and opaque rules for calculating bonuses.

Analysts at the Gremi Personal Analytical Center stress that choosing an agency solely on the basis of the lowest rate can lead to higher turnover, lower productivity and additional recruitment costs. Companies must also take into account the legal risks related to the legality of employing foreigners, settlements and the obligations of the user employer. It is therefore crucial to verify staffing service providers, the transparency of costs and the compliance of the chosen employment model with the regulations.
