Workers from Ukraine still want to work mainly in Germany or the Czech Republic. Given the deteriorating economic situation in Ukraine, Ukrainian labour migrants prioritise the chance to reach higher wages faster in Germany, the Czech Republic and the Scandinavian countries than in Poland. This process was slowed by the pandemic and lockdown. Despite this, the pessimistic trend in the Polish labour market is still clearly visible.
