Europe has for some time been keen to hire Ukrainian doctors and nurses. In the Czech Republic, for example, back in 2015 a pilot government programme “Ukraine” was launched, aimed at attracting qualified staff and employing Ukrainian medics – points out Tomasz Bogdevic, CEO of the employment agency Gremi Personal, adding that Slovakia attracts Ukrainian doctors with salaries of 1,500–3,500 euros and employment procedures simpler than in Poland.
