For long decades, Ukrainian women coming to work in Poland were seen through stereotypes. Most of those offering them work assumed that Ukrainian citizens were looking for jobs as carers or cleaners. The latest research debunks this myth. Gremi Personal conducted the focus study "The Pulse of Labour Migration: a portrait of a woman", examining what experiences Ukrainian women migrants have in Poland. It turned out that the study's participants still face many stereotypes. As many as 85% of the Ukrainian women invited to the project admitted to working below their qualifications, and only 15% had no experience of manual work.
