Since September we have observed increased interest among migrants in seasonal work. Over the past two months we have received more and more enquiries from Ukrainians who say they are going to work in Poland because of a lack of sufficient funds to pay utility bills, as well as a desire to earn money for holiday gifts. Financial difficulties are also prompting Ukrainians who have never worked abroad before to come to work in Poland. They choose Poland because of its proximity and the possibility of taking up work that does not require specialist qualifications — said Anna Dzhobolda, head of the Recruitment Department at Gremi Personal.
