There is now no sector of Poland's economy without workers from the East. In recent years, demand for such staff has spread evenly across more industries, so foreigners can be found not only in construction, agriculture or manufacturing, but also in services — transport, trade, tourism and hospitality.

According to the sociological survey "The Pulse of Labour Migration", conducted in March this year by the Gremi Personal Analytical Centre, as many as 78% of immigrants from Ukraine are satisfied with life in Poland, and 67% intend to obtain a permanent residence permit.
