A record number of temporary residence permit applications submitted by Ukrainian citizens in the first half of 2026 points to the growing importance of long-term employment of foreign nationals in Poland. For companies in manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, this means focusing not only on attracting candidates, but also on reducing staff turnover, providing stable working conditions and developing employees' skills.

Anna Dzhobolda, Strategic Advisor of the Recruitment Department at Gremi Personal, stresses that effective international recruitment should also take into account employees' career plans, legalization of stay, accommodation and adaptation support. Experts at the Gremi Personal Analytical Center point out that analyzing the reasons for departures, length of employment and employee development opportunities is becoming increasingly important for companies. This approach helps reduce the cost of repeat recruitment and build more stable teams.
