Are Young Ukrainians Earning More Than Poles? Gremi Personal Experts Explain Why

The median salary of Ukrainian citizens aged 25–34 is higher than the median for all workers in Poland, with a gap of about PLN 1,500. Data cited in articles by Puls Biznesu, Money.pl and PulsHR show that earnings are shaped by factors such as place of residence, employment structure and the nature of the work performed. Higher salaries in this group therefore do not mean that all workers from Ukraine earn more than Poles.
Anna Dzhobolda of Gremi Personal comments on the topic, pointing to the importance of professional experience, worker mobility and the concentration of employment in regions that offer higher rates. Analyses by the Gremi Personal Analytical Center help explain pay differences and show why comparisons of salaries must take into account age, industry, location and the structure of the groups studied.
