In 2025, nearly 700,000 people were placed in temporary work in Poland, and the number of contracts concluded reached almost 1.4 million. Foreigners accounted for more than half of temporary workers. Data from the Polish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy shows the growing importance of flexible forms of employment, particularly in manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, where staffing needs shift with order seasonality and the scale of operations.

Oleg Rudenko, analyst at the Gremi Personal Analytical Center, stresses that companies should separate permanent staffing needs from periodic ones, taking into account seasonality, turnover and absenteeism. Anna Dzhobolda, strategic advisor in the recruitment department at Gremi Personal, in turn points to the need to match the employment model to a company's actual needs. Combining permanent recruitment, temporary work and international candidate sourcing allows companies to keep their teams stable while responding more quickly to changes in demand.
