Employment Agencies Under Scrutiny. 69% of Foreigners Point to Opaque Practices

As many as 69% of foreigners working through employment agencies in Poland have encountered opaque pay or employment rules. A survey by the Gremi Personal Analytical Center of 600 foreign workers also shows that candidates are becoming more cautious about offers promising exceptionally high net rates. For many of them, transparency of employment terms is becoming as important as the level of pay.
Experts at the Gremi Personal Analytical Center point out that choosing an agency solely on the basis of the lowest price can generate additional costs related to staff turnover, lower productivity and repeat recruitment. The article also highlights the responsibility of user employers for occupational health and safety (OHS), working time records and the legality of employing foreigners. That is why, when choosing a staffing provider, transparent settlements, regulatory compliance and the stability of cooperation matter more and more.
