date2026-05-29

1 (43).png The number of Ukrainian workers in Poland in the first quarter of 2026 grew by 9.7%, reaching 865,000 people. This is reported by Delo.ua on the basis of data from the international employment company Gremi Personal.

According to ZUS data, the total number of insured foreign nationals on the Polish labour market in the first quarter of 2026 increased by 8.6% year-on-year - to 1.295 million people. Ukrainians remain the largest group, with their numbers approaching 865,000. Gremi Personal founder Yevheniy Kirichenko notes that the retention of simplified employment conditions for Ukrainians allows the Polish economy to maintain stability in the face of labour shortages.

At the same time, demand for temporary workers in Poland is rising - in April 2026, the number of relevant requests increased by approximately 10%. The highest demand is recorded in logistics, warehousing, food production and e-commerce. Polish business, according to the Gremi Personal founder, is increasingly choosing flexible employment as a response to macroeconomic uncertainty and rising personnel costs.
