Ukrainian business in Poland: why our citizens dominate among foreign entrepreneurs
Ukrainians remain the leading group among foreigners engaged in business activities in Poland. According to Polish registers, in 2025 Ukrainian citizens constituted the largest group of foreign entrepreneurs registered in the CEIDG system, significantly outnumbering representatives of other countries.
The growth in the number of Ukrainian sole traders in Poland indicates structural changes in the economic presence of our citizens – from participation in the labour market to an active role in creating added value and jobs. The Gremi Personal think tank notes that this trend has been made possible by accessible business registration conditions, flexible forms of employment and demand for services in key sectors of the economy.
