A Degree No Longer Guarantees Anything. European Employers Have Changed Their Requirements — What Comes First Now

новий сайт (40).png The labour market is undergoing a transformation: European companies are increasingly hiring employees on the basis of real skills rather than formal qualifications. This is the central finding of a new article published by NV Business, produced with the participation of experts from the international employment company Gremi Personal.

Experts note that the recruitment model is shifting away from document verification towards the confirmation of competencies through test assignments and case studies. As Lilia Tereshchenko, Strategic Adviser at Gremi Personal, emphasises, the importance of traditional work experience in recruitment processes is declining. Companies are no longer looking for perfectly "ready-made" profiles. Instead, what becomes decisive is a high potential for development, the candidate's ability to integrate quickly into a working environment and to resolve tasks efficiently.

Today, a portfolio, industry certifications and tangible results are becoming more valuable than a "perfect" CV. Why experience is no longer the sole currency of professional value — and what skills employers will be seeking by 2030. For more information, visit biz.nv.ua
